* Myanmar Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka

July 30, Colombo: The Foreign Minister of Myanmar, Nayan Win is to visit Sri Lanka early next month with his delegation, for the meeting of the Second Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation to be held on August 3 and 4th.

Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry said nearly 20 prominent businessmen in Myanmar are expected to visit Sri Lanka with their Foreign Minister to promote bilateral business affairs.

The Myanmar delegation is to meet with the Sri Lankan Minister of Trade and Export Promotion and also with the members of the Chamber of Commerce during this visit. Sri Lanka seeks opportunities for exporting local products to Myanmar and it will receive attention at the forthcoming meetings, Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry announced.
