July 30, Colombo: An employee at a leading private television channel in Sri Lanka was badly assaulted by his company's Managing Director yesterday evening.
According to the sources, Gamini Costa, the chief make-up artist of the TV channel was badly assaulted and has been admitted to Colombo National Hospital.
Reportedly the irate Managing Director battered the employee in his personal room with the assistance of the security guards of the company.
The family sources of Costa told the media that the MD was angry at the employee as he was late in finishing a make-up order given to him by the company.
