July 28, Colombo: New Zealand have named the squad for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour in early August, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced this evening.
According to the media release issued by the SLC New Zealand has named 21 players and 08 officials for the Sri Lankan tour.
The New Zealand squad for Sri Lanka tour as follows:
Daniel Vettori (Captain) Grant Elliot, Brendon McCullum, Daryl Taffey, Jacob Oram, Jesse Ryder, Ross, Taylor, Reece Young, Jeetan Patel, Lain O'Brien, Tim Mcintosh, Chris Martin, Daniel Flynn, Martin Guptill, Craig Cumming, Shane Bond, Peter McGlashan, Kyle Mills, Nathan McCullum, Neil Broom , Gareth Hopkins
The schedule for the New Zealand tour is as follows:
Arrival of team: August 04.
1st Test: August 18 to 22 at Galle International Stadium.
2nd Test: August 26 to 30 at the S.S.C Grounds in Colombo.
1st Twenty20: September 02 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
Triangular Series: From September 09th to 14th at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
