* More than 180 Sri Lankan fishermen under Indian custody

July 05, Colombo: Sri Lanka said a total 185 Sri Lankan fishermen are in Indian custody with their 37 boats.

Sri Lanka Fisheries Ministry said that since June 15 the Indian Coast Guard has arrested over 15 Lankan fishing boats and all the fishermen for violating their maritime border.

The Ministry also said that 52 fishermen released by the Indian authorities are due to arrive in the country next week.
