July 03, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa was the chief guest at a ceremony held today to Old Anandians who immensely contributed to liberate the country from terrorism.

Secretary of Defence Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Army Commander, General Sarath Fonseka, Navy Commander, Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda and the Director General Civil Defence, Sarath Weerasekara were among those honoured. Pictured here President was being honoured as the Commander-in-Chief of the Forces, by the Anandians. Ananda Principle D.M.L.T. Dissanayake, President of the Old boy Association Manju Fernando President's Secretary Lalith Weerathunga were also present.
