* Postal voting dates decided for Uva PC and Northern polls in Sri Lanka

July 03, Colombo: Sri Lanka Election Commissioner Dayananda Dissanayake has allocated July 27th and 28th for postal voting in the upcoming elections in Uva and North.

According to Election Department sources, they are selecting the qualified voters to cast postal votes at the moment.

Qualified government workers could cast their postal votes at the selected government offices, which are to be announced later.

Assistant Returning Officers will closely monitor postal voting centers while special security arrangements are also to be deployed.

The elections for the Uva Province, Jaffna Municipal Council and Vavuniya Urban Council will be held on August 08th.
