July 03, Colombo: Some 20,270 students have been selected to the Universities in Sri Lanka this year, the Education Ministry announced.

Education authorities said that five more subjects would be introduced for Universities from this year.

Meanwhile, the University Grants Commission (UGC) yesterday released the Z-score cut off marks for the admission to universities in Sri Lanka based on the results of the GCE Advanced Level Examination held in August, 2008.
