July 02, Colombo: The current Deputy Minister of Tourism Faizer Mustapha today took oaths as the Minister of Tourism Promotion before the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Presidential Media Unit said that Mustapha was sworn in following the oaths ceremony of Milinda Moragoda, the new Justice and Law Reforms minister this morning.

Mustapha was also a member of the rebellion group of the main opposition United National Party and crossed over to the government with the party's deputy leader Karu Jayasuriya and another eighteen.
