Sabaragamuwa University to reopen tomorrow following the clash

July 01, Colombo: The Sri Lanka Sabaragamuwa University, which was closed after a clash between two factions of the university students is to reopen its Applied Sciences and Management faculties for the first and second year students on Thursday.
The University authorities said that security had been tightened at the University in order to prevent any more clashes.
On June 18, both faculties were closed after a clash between the students factions, which erupted due to an argument broke out during a sports festival.
The authorities are conducting a special investigation into the incident.
