Fuel prices go up again in Sri Lanka

July 01, Colombo: Sri Lanka government has decided to increase the fuel prices once again with effect from Wednesday midnight.
Government Information Department said the decision was taken to cover the losses due to the recent rise in fuel prices in the global market.
According to the new formula price of a liter of Octane 90 petrol will go up by Rs. 10.00 while Octane 95 petrol by Rs. 15.00 and Diesel by Rs. 3.00.
Prices of a liter of Kerosene and Furnace Oil are raised by Rs. 1.00.
