Dec 30, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government announced that the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of LP gas has been reduced by Rs.60, effective midnight tomorrow (31).
Addressing the media Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Bandula Gunawardena announced a short while ago that the new price of a Laugfs cylinder would be Rs.1,421.
The price of a Shell gas cylinder however, would remain at Rs.1,550 .
The government yesterday reduced the petrol prices by 15 rupees a liter.
