According to the Minister, the policy statement for this campaign has been extended beyond the Mahinda Chinthana, the 2005 election manifesto.
The 2010 manifesto has taken into account the opinions of all the parties in the alliance and information gathered through numerous surveys, Minister Premajayantha said.
Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama said the UPFA policy statement has focused more attention on the provision of jobs to the youth and to provide solutions to their problems.
