* Sri Lanka's education system needs a change, President says

Dec 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa promised to solve all the problems plaguing the Educational Administrative Service of the country when he met the Educational Administrative Society members at the Temple Trees yesterday (10).

The President highlighting the importance of building the country as a knowledge center in the region said the country's education system need to be changed at this at this crucial juncture to achieve the goal.

During the meeting President Rajapaksa pointed out that the current administration ij four years accomplished a massive part of the work that was vested in it for the six-year term.

President Rajapaksa requested urged all progressive forces to discharge their duties and responsibilities properly and unite to strengthen the programme of building the country that had achieved peace after 30 years.
