Six-year-old Sri Lankan author presents her first book to the President
Aug 27, Colombo: Six-year-old Vihangi Rajapaksa, daughter of Dr. Ravi Rajapaksa and Mrs. Upeksha Rajapaksa presented her first book "Tales from an Angel" to the President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at Temple Trees. The book was launched at the BMICH on August 24 with the participation of. British High Commissioner Dr. Peter Hayes.
Vihangi is a year 1 student of Salcombe Preparatory school in London. Recently a book cover designed by Vihangi won the first place at the D K World Book Day cover competition 2009 in the 4-7 age group, sponsored by the Dorling Kindersley Book Company of London.
