Mar 09, Colombo: Founder of TMVP, Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman along with nearly 3,000 members of his party from the East took the membership in ruling party, SLFP in the presence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees this afternoon.

MP Muralitharan was sworn in as the non cabinet Minister for National Integration and Reconciliation before the President afterwards.

Ministers Maithripala Sirisena, Susil Premajayantha, A.H.M Fowzie, Kumara Welgama, and Dullas Alahapperuma were also present at the occasion.

President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, Senior Adviser to the President, MP Basil Rajapaksa, and Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa congratulated the new Minister.
