Tree branch falls on class: Teacher and student killed
Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 13:20 GMT, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Mar 31, Colombo: A teacher and a student were killed and more than fifteen students injured when a branch of a tree fell on a school class in Vavuniya today. Police said that at the time of the incident, the teacher was teaching the students outside the school building under a tree located inside the school premises. All the injured students were admitted to Vavuniya Hospital.
