Students clash at Sri Lanka University

Mar 13, Anuradhapura: Following a student clash at the Rajarata University in Mihintale, the applied science faculty has been closed indefinitely.
The acting Vice Chancellor of the Rajarata University said that they have taken this decision as the police was unable to control the students clash occurred this morning at the university premises.
The Vice Chancellor ordered the students in applied science faculty to vacate the hostels before tomorrow evening to maintain law and order at the University.
However other faculties in the university are functioning as usual.
This was the second students clash occurred in the Sri Lanka university system during this month. Earlier students of the Kelaniya University in Colombo were involved in a clash that forced the administrators to close the University indefinitely.
