* Opinion: Actual aspirations of the Tamils living in the North are totally different; they prefer to live in peace with all other communities
Saturday, January 3, 2009, 1:27 GMT, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Jan 03 Colombo: Another loss to the LTTE. Another LTTE suicide bomber has committed suicide as there is no other alternative other than to commit suicide for the Tamil Tiger Terrorists in the face of continuous military victories registered by the Sri Lankan armed forces in the North.

It is one of the most atrocious crimes to deceive and brainwash human beings to act as human weapons to try and fulfill the unrealistic aspirations of a Diaspora who is never willing to come and settle in Eelam even if the Eelam was established.

Present circumstances would not leave any room for a separate state for another millennium or so in this island. Loss of A 9 road, loss of control over civilians, lack of a base hospital, lack of access to north and west, lack of supplies, loss of moral due to loss of administrative hub and loss of a large proportion of the leadership and the cadre are irreversible losses for the Tamil Tiger Terrorists. Tiger's dream of establishing an Eelam State will never come true.

Tamil Diaspora should put an end to the persuasion and killing of innocent Tamils as suicide bombers at least at this stage. Diaspora just does this to satisfy their ego. Actual aspirations of the Tamils living in the North are totally different. They prefer to live in peace with all other communities in Sri Lanka, as it was clearly demonstrated by the response to the recent exhibition held in Jaffna. If the Tamil Diaspora is really concerned about the innocent Tamils living in Sri Lanka they should now try and protect the remaining Tamils from falling them also pray to the mad LTTE.
