Jan 30, Dehiwala: Sri Lanka police arrested a suspect at Aththidiya in Dehiwala this evening in connection with the killing of Sunday Leader Editor Lasantha Wickramathunga, police said.

According to the Police Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Ranjith Gunasekara series of investigations had led to the arrest. However the police have not released the details of the suspect.

The Sunday Leader chief editor Lasantha Wickramathunga was shot dead by unidentified gunmen came in four motorcycles at Aththidiya in Dehiwala on January 8th when he was on his way to work.
