* Suspects in Sri Lanka's collapsed finance company case further remanded

Jan 30, Mt. Lavinia: The Mount Lavinia Chief Magistrate today further remanded the four main suspects of the Golden Key Credit Card fraud case.

When the case was heard this morning, the Mount Lavinia Chief Magistrate Harsha Sirithunga ordered to remand the suspects including the Deputy Chairman of the company, Khavan Perera till February 13th.

The other three suspects are former company auditor M. Nallenthuwan, Finance Director Saradha Sumanasekara and Manoj Chaminda Jayalath, one of the directors from Ceylinco Insurance.

The Magistrate Harsha Sirithunga further ordered the company to furnish by Monday all the details of its assets that are able to be sold to pay the depositors.

The Golden Key Credit Card Company, a member of the Ceylinco group recently collapsed following a huge money scam of over Rs.26 billion.
