Jan 01, Colombo: Sri Lanka government has decided to appoint new directors to 57 health institutes in the country effective today.
The Health Ministry said that some high level transfers are also among these new appointments.
According to the Ministry Dr. Anil Jayasinghe, Director of the Accident unit of Colombo National Hospital has been reassigned as the Director of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila.
Dr. Rani Fernandopulle will serve as the Director of the Castle women’s Hospital and Dr. Wimal Karandagoda will be the new Director of De Zoysa Maternity Hospital.
Dr. Roy Perera has been assigned as the Director of Colombo North Teaching Hospital in Ragama while Dr. Mahanama Rajamanthree will be the new Director of Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Colombo.
Dr. S. Yoganadan will serve as the new Director of government’s Cancer Institute in Maharagama and Dr. M Liyanage has been assigned as the new Director of the Colombo Eye hospital.
