Jan 01, Anuradhapura: Sri Lanka Minister of Indigenous Medicine Thissa Karalliyadda has submitted a special proposal to the President Mahinda Rajapaksa aiming to reduce the expenses of Sri Lankan government.
Speaking at a meeting held in Anuradhapura the Minister said that he has proposed to limit the ministerial portfolios and increase the number of deputy ministers.
The Minister stressed that he is always ready to sacrifice his Minister of Indigenous Medicine post to cut down expenses.
He further said that he has already urged the President to take over his ministerial post and give him a deputy minister post.
