* LP gas prices to go down in Sri Lanka

Feb 27, Colombo: Shell and Laugfs Gas Lanka, the two main gas suppliers in Sri Lanka have decided to reduce its domestic gas prices with effect from today midnight.

The two companies said they have taken this decision to reduce the domestic gas prices after considering the decline in world prices.

According to this price revision the new price of a 12.5 kilogram cylinder of domestic Shell LP gas will be Rs. 1,309 while the new price of 12.5 kilogram cylinder of Laugfs LP gas will be Rs. 1,069.

The two gas suppliers, Shell and Laugfs have decided to reduce the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder by Rs. 310 and Rs. 334 respectively.
