* Another group of Sri Lankan fishermen in Indian waters arrested

Feb 02, Colombo: Indian Coast Guard have arrested another group of Sri Lankan fishermen yesterday evening for entering Indian waters illegally.

Sri Lankan Deputy High Commissioner for India P.M Amza said that the group of 17 fishermen has been arrested at the Visakhapatnam sea area last evening.

They were handed over to the local police in Visakhapatnam for further inquiries.

Indian Coast Guard have also seized three boats that belong to the fishermen, the Deputy High Commissioner confirmed.

According to the sources the fishermen were from Chilaw, Tangalle and Trincomalee.
