Feb 18, Colombo: Following a successful triangular one-day series in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka women cricket team arrived in the country this morning with a trophy.

The team was welcomed by the officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake early this morning.

Sri Lanka women's team defeated the mighty Pakistanis by six wickets to clinch the trophy of this triangular one-day tournament concluded at National Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh yesterday.

Sri Lanka, Pakistan and host nation Bangladesh were the three participants of the tournament, but Bangladesh failed to reach the finals.

In the finals Pakistanis were bundled out for only 123 runs and the Sri Lankan women's reached the winning score only losing four wickets with another fifteen Overs to be bowled.
