Sept 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka Marxist party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramnuna MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake urged Media Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa to give him a chance through the state media to respond to certain allegations leveled against him and his party by various people.

In a letter to the Minister MP Dissanayake said “The state media continues to insult me and our party and not even inviting any of party representatives to answer those allegations, so make arrangements to use state media for the right to reply.”

Citing an example he stated that recently in the Rupavahini, MP Wimal Weerawansa accused him and his party with false allegations.
