Sept 04, Colombo: Kandy District UNP Parliamentarian Abdul Cader urged Party Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe to appoint him as the Deputy Leader of the Party. In a letter to the Party Leader, MP Cader also presented deputy posts for John Amaratunga and K. Velautham, a Sri Lankan daily said. He also has sent copies to UNP Chairman Rukman Senanayake, General Secretary Tissa Attanayake and members of the Executive Committee as well.
