Sept 04, Colombo: Chief Minister of North Central Provincial Council Berty Premalal Dissanayake, Chief Minister of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Maheepala Herath and rest of the elected officials took oaths before the President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat today.

According to the President’s media unit eight ministers from both provinces and the two chief ministers, Berty Premalal Dissanayake and Maheepala Herath took oaths at about 11:00 a.m. this morning.

Each province will have four ministers while the two chief ministers keeping some valuable ministries under their belt. The new ministers due to assume their ministerial duties within the next few days.
