* Thirteen injured in hand grenade attack in Eastern Sri Lanka

Sept 29, Batticaloa: Thirteen people including two children were injured in the hand grenade attack in Kaththankudi town of Batticaloa this evening.

District Medical Officer of the Kaththankui hospital Dr. Nazzer Deen said that eleven of the injured have been transferred to the Batticaloa hospital after initial treatments.

Kaththankui police are conducting further inquires.
