Sept 29, Colombo: Sri Lankan Air Force MI 24 Helicopters attacked another LTTE target in Kilinochchi district this afternoon.

According to the sources the air raid targeted an strong LTTE bunker line located three kilometers northwest of the Wannerikulam tank at about 12:15 p.m. today.

Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Naayakkara said that this air raid was carried in support of the ground troops who are marching forward to the rebel capital Kilinochchi. Pilots have confirmed that the target was accurately hit.
