Sept 28, Colombo: Bringing the total number of Sri Lankan refugees to 133 during this month, 18 more Sri Lankan refuges had landed on Arichalmunai, Dhanuskodi, India.

Reports said that these refugees, who had travelled in a small fishing boat from Mannar, reached Arichalmunai in a group that included at least seven children.

Each adult had paid Rs 13,000 to the illegal Sri Lankan ferry to make the journey, while the children were charged at half rate, according to the refugees.
