* Sri Lanka government to table the Appropriation Bill tomorrow at parliament for more funds

Oct 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka government is expecting to present another Appropriation Bill to the parliament tomorrow.

According to government sources, the proposed bill is expected to provide funds for the services of the financial year 2009. In addition the bill will authorize raising loans in or outside Sri Lanka for the purpose of such services and make financial provision in respect of certain activities of the government during that financial year.

The bill is also expected to enable the payment by way of advances out of the Consolidated Fund or any other fund or moneys at the disposal of the government.
