October 06, Colombo: An explosion took place little while ago in the vicinity of the Anuradhapura bus stand has killed several people including the United National Party Provincial Council Member, Maj. Genenarl Janaka Perera. According to Military spokesperson, Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara Maj. Genenarl Janaka Perera and twenty other UNP members were present at the location when the explosion took place. All injured are admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital.
