* Sri Lanka Tourism says country situation returns to normalcy

Oct 29, Colombo: With two terrorist aircraft attacking a power station in Colombo city limits and an Army camp in the North Western province of the island on the same day, Sri Lanka Tourism issuing a statement on the country situation states that “every thing has returned to normalcy.”

“Two passenger flights, Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways were diverted to Chennai during the incident to ensure passenger safety which is paramount on the agenda in handling such incidents. The two flights later flew into Colombo and left for their onward destinations in the early hours of the morning. Although delays were caused, airport operations returned back to normal with in an hour and life goes on as usual in the country,” it stated.
