Oct 29, Colombo: The United States Ambassador in Sri Lanka Robert Blake is scheduled to visit the North Central Province this weekend to see the completion of a US government funded project.

The documentation project just completed enables the conservation and protection of 3rd century B.C. monasteries in Anuradhapura in the North Central Province.

The project was completed at a cost of US $ 21,078 provided by the United States Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation for this project.

The overall supervision of the project was carried out by the Director General of the Central Cultural Fund.
