Oct 10, Colombo: Health Ministers representing 60 countries are to meet this weekend at the Ceylon Continental Hotel in Colombo to participate in the Third Asia-Pacific Action Alliance on Human Resources for Health (AAAH) Conference.
The conference on “Globalisation and its implications for health care and human resources for health” organized jointly by the AAAH, the Sri Lanka Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition and the Public Health Foundation of India will be held from 12-15 October in Colombo and Kandy.
During this four-day conference, the participants will discuss a variety of issues regarding the current health care situation in the world and the ways to improve the health, nutrition, and human resources in the Asia Pacific region.
Sri Lanka Health Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva will be the chief guest.
