Oct 10, Colombo: Sri Lanka's veteran media person Kalakeerthi titled Edwin Ariyadasa who was linked with Sakvithi Ranasinghe's colossal money scam surrendered to Courts yesterday through a lawyer. He was released on a one million rupees bail.

Mr. Ariyadasa's lawyer M.L.M. Ameen stated that his client was only the paid director of the English education section of the institute and he had no connection with financial transactions.

Mr. Ariyadasa was ordered to give a statement to police and also to inform the Courts if he leaves the country.

The case was postponed to October 20.
