* A bridge collapses in Sri Lanka with a cement truck

Nov 05, Anuradhapura: A bridge on the Anuradhapura-Puttalam road collapsed this evening (05) with a truck carrying nearly 600 cement bags.

Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said that the heavy weight of the cement truck cause the accident.

According to the spokesman Anuradhapura-Puttalam road is temporarily closed at the moment. Police advise motorists to use alternate roads.
