Nov 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka Parliament today strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in India's commercial capital Mumbai that killed more than 150 people and injured 370.
All the parties who represent the Parliament stressed that the world should join hands to eradicate the terrorism with immediate effect.
Speaking at the Parliament this morning Foreign minister Rohitha Bogollagama pointed out the urgent need for concerted action by all countries to eradicate terrorism from the world.
Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe said the world should concern on political and social economic problems while the military actions going ahead to over run the terrorism.
The main Marxist party the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and other minority parties including the monk party Jathika Hela Urumaya also stressed the need for a joint effort to eradicate the terrorism.
