Nov 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka's main Opposition United National Party holds its national executive committee meeting on Saturday to take crucial future decisions.
The meeting will be held at the Sirikotha, the party headquarters.
“Important decisions would be taken at the Saturday’s meeting including party’s structure and its future policies,” a spokesman for the party said.
He also said that during the meeting decisions would be taken about the names to the newly created posts -Deputy Leader and Assistant Leader of the party.
Several senior party members openly criticized the leadership of the party and demanded a possible change of the leadership.
