Nov 21, Colombo: Sri Lankan Air Force Mi24 helicopters attacked a group of Tiger cadres at Akkarayankulam in Kilinochchi this evening. Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said the attack was launched on the LTTE cadres to support the troops of 57 Division at 6.5 kilometers north-east of Akkarayankulam tank. Pilots have confirmed that the target was accurately hit.
