* Sri Lanka Opposition Leader's path obstructed in India

Nov 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is currently on a tour in India, had to go through a bitter experience, as his vehicle had been obstructed by a large number of people at Tirukollikadu in Tiruvarur district.

Media reports said that he arrived from Chennai to Tiruchrapallai and visited a famous temple of Lord Saturn in the area. After returning from the temple, some members of the Communist Party of India with black flags obstructed the path of Mr. Wickremasinghe.

Another group of CPI volunteers showed black flags at Needamangalam, reports said adding that Police arrested those who showed black flags.
