Nov 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka government has requested all the pensioners who are living in other countries at the moment to register in the special database updated by the government.

The Colombo District Secretary G.A.J. Sylvester said that the expatriate pensioners can inform their details to the relevant Divisional Secretariats or the District Secretariat.

The government hopes to get all the current addresses of these pensioners through the website www.ds.gov.lk/colombo.

According to the sources more than 4,000 pensioners from Colombo District are living overseas at the moment.
