Nov 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka's major Tamil constituent Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP Sivashakthi Ananthan said in the parliament today that education of 50,000 school students of the Northern Province had been affected due to war.

The MP said that these students belonged to around 190 schools in the province.

The MP made this statement participating in the committee stage of the budget at the parliament.
