Nov 19, Colombo: Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Central Committee will meet this evening under the patronage of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the party leader.

The Central Committee will discus the matters related to upcoming Provincial Council elections, party sources said.

A nomination committee is to be appointed to choose the candidates for the five Provincial Councils the elections are pending.

The political programme of the party for the next year is also to be presented to the Central committee today, SLFP sources said.
