Nov 18, Kandy: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa celebrated his 63rd birthday today with religious activities.

President visited the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of Tooth) in Kandy this morning and received blessings with First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa and his son. Diyawadana Nilame (Custodian of the Temple) Nilanga Dela Bandara also participated in the event.

President greeted the well wishers gathered at the Temple.

President Rajapaksa in the evrning met Chief Monk of Malwathu Chapter, Ven.Tibbatuwawe Sumangala Maha Nayake Thero at Malwathu Maha Viharaya and Chief Monk of Asgiri Chapter Ven Udugama Sri Buddha Rakkitha Maha Nayake Thero at the Asgiri Maha Viharaya.
