Nov 13, New Delhi: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa addressed the 2nd Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit in New Delhi held this morning at the Taj Palace hotel.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed, Myanmar Prime Minister Thein Sein, Bhutanese Prime Minister Jigmi Y Thinley and Thai Premier Somchai Wangsawat are attending the summit.

Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, and Sri Lankan High Commissioner in India Romesh Jayasinghe were also present.
