Nov 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday (11) evening following his visit to Maldives.

Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Indian State Minister for Home Affairs welcomed the President. Romesh Jayasinghe, Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India was also present.

Before departure to India President participated in the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected President of Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed. President Rajapaksa had a bilateral meeting with his counterpart.
