Nov 11, Colombo:First copy of the biography of Veteran Singer Latha Walpola, "Latha Hela Gee Rajina", authored by Deepthi Fonseka, to mark the singer's 75th birth anniversary was handed over to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at his office recently.

Latha Walpola with her career spanning over sixty years is known as the Nightingale of Sinhala music. The biography wrote by the well-known entertainment journalist Deepthi Fonseka will be launched in a ceremony at the BMICH today at 4 pm.
