May 07, Colombo: Asia Pacific Brewery Lanka Limited (APB Lanka) was recently recognized as a quality brewer with world class standards when it was accredited the ISO 9001:2000 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Netherlands for quality management in brewing, packaging and marketing of beer and stout on 24th March 2008.

DNV is the world’s leading certification body for accreditation in Quality Management System of ISO 9001: 2000.

Having assessed APB Lanka’s process performance and effectiveness in the gamut of manufacturing and marketing operations including quality of equipment, raw materials facilities and execution of services, DNV confirmed APB Lanka’s effective management of quality and commitment to customers with the ISO accreditation.
